Dear Amy, Bob, Al, Jean, and family-
I am so sorry for your loss. I know it has been some time now since Ben's passing, and I just found out today. When I knew Ben 25+ years ago, I always remember him as one of the most cheerful and friendly people I've met. While I mourn the loss, reading your words of the blessings he made of his time is inspiring. I pray his beneficent spirit bring joy to your memories.
Sending love,
Joel

My heart dropped as I took your call today(American Express). You words in this obituary were beautiful. I'm wishing you the best and you and your family are in my prayers.
My deepest sympathies to Al and Jean and Amy and Bob and the whole Blat family. The Blat's are wonderful people and I was lucky to be their neighbor for 11 years. Ben was a wonderful person and will be missed by all who knew him. Jean watches over Mannie and now Mannie will watch over Ben. God Bless you all in this difficult time. Sincerely, Bob & Kathy Thompson
Although we didn't know Ben, we heard Amy's very moving speech at the Stewardship dinner at Mt. Olivet this fall. Ben sounds like he was one heck of a great guy. Committed to his family, friends and Church. May his memory be a blessing to you.

Ben it was a privilege to work with you at the YMCA. Many fun topics were discussed on the empty pool days. My sympathies to your family.
