I enjoyed having Mr. Aschenbrener as a teacher. He was a great neighbor and a VERY patient driver's Ed teacher as well :) I have nothing but fond memories of him.
Dear Aschenbrener family,
I am saddened to find out about Mr. Aschenbrener's passing. I enjoyed him as a teacher and drivers Ed instructor. Also Don and Yvonne were our chaperones on the Shakopee high school German trip. I have many fond memories of that time with them. Peace to you.

Yvonne, we are sorry to hear of your loss. Our prayers are with you and your family. I didn't get to know Don, but he sounds like a great guy.
Betty and I wish to express our sympathy on Don's passing. I was in CHS advisory 102 with Don for three years and of course his family lived across the street from my Uncle John Hammerlind. Don was a great gentleman and much admired by his peers. We will remember you both in our prayers.
It has been 15 years since I left Shakopee but I have never forgotten what a wonderful man Don was and how much I enjoyed working with him. I learned so much from him, and so respected the love and dedication that he had for every student and faculty member at SJH. I live in TN now and won't be at the funeral but please know that my prayers are with you and your family. May he rest in peace and without pain/suffering; may you find peace in the memories of the good times. Prayers for you all, Vicki Petzko (Principal, SJH, 1990-1998)
Sorry to hear about Don. So many memories growing up with Don and his family in my life. Faculty picnics, family camping trips, being at your house with Martin from the time we were kids through high school and college. Don was my sponsor for confirmation at St. Marks Church, and was always available for a chat in the driveway when I would stop by to pick up Martin.I write this with fond memories of Don and the entire Aschenbrener family.Prayers to you all.
Dear Yvonne and Family,
We were shocked and saddened to read of Don's death. We were neighbors of yours in Shakopee on Scott Street many years ago and have fond memories of Don and your entire family from that time. Please know our thoughts and prayers go out to you and the entire family. Fondly, Frank, Betty, Mike, Mary and Joe Schneider, 1787 Shryer Av., Roseville, MN 55113

The Lord has called a good man home. Growing up I always heard what a humble and good man cousin Don was. We are all blessed to have known him.
Stay strong and surround yourselves with all the wonderful memories you carry inside each of you.
Dear Yvonne and family,
We are saddened to receive the news of Michaels passing to his final home on this St. Patrick's Day. May you be comforted by all the good memories of the past. May the Peace of Christ be with you.
With prayers and blessings,
I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Aschenbrenner's passing. I was his student in Junior High. Prayers to your family.
I really enjoyed Don and getting to know him. He was such a sweet person. My sympathies are with the family.
Condolences to your family. He was a wonderful teacher and I have many fond memories of his kindness and patience as he was also my driving instructor. RIP Mr Aschenbrener
Don was a wonderful friend & co-worker. He was remarkable with students & made a big difference in the lives of all he touched. He will be missed.
Dear Aschenbrener Family. Our deepest sympathy on the passing of my Uncle Don. He was great man who possessed a quiet manner and wry sense of humor. He will be missed by so many. As long as he is remembered and held fondly in your hearts he will not be gone. Thomas and Joseph Radke
