Our Uncle Harley was such a wonderful, caring man -- we will miss him very much! I am just old enough to remember him getting home from the war in 1945...and his soon-to-be marriage to Rose Marie. Rest In Peace dear one!!
Grant, Chris, Scott and Andrew--Brock and I were saddened to read of the passing of your loved one. Grant, it's so difficult to lose your one and only dad. I see he was in the Army Air Corps, like my dad. It's tough to see the Greatest Generation leaving us. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Blessings to you--D.
Since I was a littel girl, my great uncle Harley has always called me "bright eyes." I loved the nickname... he made me feel so special. Last summer at the VA hospital he even called me "bright eyes."
I will always have a picture of Uncle Harley playing tennis with my mom and dad.
His positive, joyful attitude was AWESOME!
I am so sorry to hear of your family's loss. Harley was a special man in a special family.
Love to you all,
We love you grandpa. They don't make them like you anymore. You are forever in our hearts! <3
Harley was such a wonderful man. I had the pleasure of knowing him at River Hills UMC. He was quite handsome in his uniform on Veterans Day this past year. My condolences to your family. I am certain that he is watching from heaven!
I always appreciated Harley's positive attitude. I know he was an excellent brother to my grandmother, Marjorie. He has been incredibly supportive to my mother, Leila, since my father died. Harley will be missed.
To the family: Harley was the best, they
don't come any better. He has been
a very dear uncle to me. Leila Allison
