I am sorry to hear of Helen's death and send my condolences to you all. I remember our younger years and her spunkiness and willingness to tackle anything. She never lost that. She was a kind, considerate friend who always made me laugh. Her suffering is over and for that I am greatful
Helen was my champion , colleague and best friend. I will miss her deeply. She always stood by me and supported me in my many adventures in teaching. She was my Joan of Arc when things would become difficult in the workplace and always would be there with a laugh and "Stephen" quote when I would do things she applauded. I loved to have her around, it was never a party unless she was celebrating with me. I knew her family through our conversations and remember her retirement gathering at my house with all of our close teacher friends. She will be missed, especially that contagious laugh.
Our deepest sympathy to your family may the many fond memories of the love she shared with you all give you comfort, Charlotte, Rick and Carly Nisleit
