Jim was a member of our community for the last several years and we were so sorry to hear of his passing. He was a nice man...and talented. He was kind enough to share some of his drawings with us and we were so pleased. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
Thank you for notifying me about Jim yesterday. I've been going down memory lane since and been notifying my kids about your loss. It's hard to believe how much time has passed since we served together at Sixteenth Corps in Sendai during the Korean War. He was a bright spirit and I feel privileged to have known he and Betty through these many years. He was indeed beloved by all who knew him. May God give you comfort as we adjust to the loss.

I'm sorry to hear about your dad...and your mom also.
I have fond memories of both your mom and dad growing up and putting up with a bunch of giggly teenagers. I'd love to see you again and catch up.

So grateful to have know Jim,and you didn't know him, without knowing his beloved wife Betty. Jim could write the most beautiful, uplifting letters to help others with their own grief of a loved one...know that you will be in the front of the line greeting the new arrivals, with Betty at your side.
I'm so sorry for the loss of your father. Jim was a good friend to both myself and my husband Paul, and he will be greatly missed. Your father never failed to have something humorous to tell all of us at coffee, I guess because he figured we all had our own little rough times, and he just wanted to cheer us all up. I'll miss his rascal ways, his great smile, and his never ending want to share all good things we us. My thoughts and prayers are with you!

I'm so sorry to hear about your father passing away. For so many years he was like a second dad to me. He and your mom were great friends to my parents and now they can all visit again. Please let me know when the memorial will be. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. ((( ))) A big hug for you also.
