John (and Jean) were wonderful neighbors in Burnsville. John gave me many plants to add to my growing garden. I especially loved the blue and white columbines! Very fond memories of John's quiet manner and the beauty that he added to our neighborhood through his meticulous garden.
John was a great neighbor and kept such a beautiful yard and garden, gardens that were admired. Many memories of John and the entire Kolles family in our Burnsville neighborhood, one that I recall is John putting a bell on our wayward cat, as she would enjoy stalking the song birds in John's lush Gardens
Thoughts and prayers are with Jean and Jim.

A long time ago John and I were standing at the Xerox machine at MWS discussing our past weekend. He had taken Jimmy sledding, if I remember correctly. Whatever the event he said he was bursting with love for Jim. I was happy for John. I've always remembered this, as it was so heartfelt. My sympathy to Jean, Jim, friends and family.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Jean. We taught with John and remember him as a wonderful and kind friend.
