Very dear Josie and all children and grandchildren of this Great Lady - I was very sorry to hear through Mia of Louise's passing. My heart is filled with gratitude and love for all the kindness and love that I and my daughter Mia received from all of you. She is an angel who will be watching for everyone she loved so much during her beautiful life.

John, Candy and Varco Family.
It is with great sadness that I read of Louise's passing. Having heard she had some heart issues as we were leaving for NY, I often wondered how she was doing, and felt a sadness that, inspite of her spirit and outlook, she may not be here when we got back. We are so sorry to have missed the Visitation. Please, know we have been thinking of you. {"Proper card" and Memorial to follow ...}
So Sorry for the loss.

Josie and family, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your lovely mom. I have so many fond memories of spending time at your house, and all of the fun times over the years growing up. Your mom always made me feel welcome and special any time I saw her. She will be missed and remembered always. My love and prayers to you all.

Please convey my sympathy and condolences to the family of a gracious, great lady.Many times I was in your home on the East River Parkway when Richard Varco, Don Hastings, and I were planning our action in the controversy over private medical fees in the UofM Medical school in 1960 and 1961. Richard and Louise had a great family and took justifiable pride in them. They are missed by many people in Minnesota and elsewhere. Donn G. Mosser, M.D.

I am grateful to have had the opportunity to spend some recent quality time with my "Auntie Weezie." She made me promise to attend her 100th birthday bash. Based on her always positive and sunny attitude and her amazing staying power and apparent good health, I was sure this would come to pass. She did, BTW, mix a great Manhattan and cook a mean Osso Bucco! I'll miss her and send my best to the rest of the sizeable Varco clan.
