Joan and Family,
Even as the perimeters of my eyes become laden with tears at thoughts of memories sublime, I know that my pain pales in comparison with yours. How many times have I reached for the phone to call that one person who'd definitively know the answer, only to kick myself for sub-conscious folly; and if I've done it ten times, I know you've thought to do it a hundred. It is solely by the grace of God that we could ever have had such a friend; it is that same grace which shall carry us through. Forgive me as I continue to miss my friend.
my thoughts and prayers go out to your family.

Dear Joanie and Family,
Adam and I are were so shocked and saddened to hear about Mark (or Markie as I always called him). I am thankful for our visit at cousin Nicole's graduation this Summer. We are greatful for his help in selling our home in Lake Elmo. I have many fond memories of him at family 4th of July get-togethers at the lake when I was a kid - he was awesome with a frisbee! Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I will remember him for his smile, willingness to help and guide others, and for those lovely Geraniums! He was a master at a lot of things. Much love to you!
