I was saddened to learn of Bob's passing. He was such a kind soul and it was always a treat to see him at Sunday services and get such a great smile and friendly hug. I worked with Bob and Marge at the Dayton Avenue and their dedication, giving natures and good humor were such an inspiration. He will be missed.
Bob, as a 3M employee, helped me on my first real job (1964). I worked under him for over a year and have always remembered his smile and kindness to an inexperience young girl.
The Twin Cities Scottish Club mourns the loss of one of its' dearest members. Bob and his late wife, were such dedicated and loved members of the Twin Cities Scottish Club and our Scottish community as a whole. You will be missed Bob, but we know you are loving being with your dear wife again in heaven. God Bless you always.
Bob was an amazing man! He had such a kind heart, and a fairy tale romance with his love, Marge. I will miss your gentleness, your kind heart and lovely smile my friend. RIP
Bob was my cousin, in same high school class, played in the band with him and enjoyed seeing him and Margery thru the years at high school reunions and periodic phone calls and emails. My prayers are with the family at this time.
I met Bob many years ago at the U of Iowa. We took an immediate liking for each other, and it was through him and his wife Marjorie that I met my wife-to-be, Dorothy Rempel. We were attendants at his wedding, and he and Marge at ours.
We've lost a dear friend.
Our heartfelt condolences to his surviving children and other close relatives.
