Dear Pat, Mike, and Steve -- Our thoughts and prayers go out to you all. We just learned about Sue from Jack's sister. We had many good times as neighbors on 81st St for all those years. God be with you all in this time of sorrow. Sue was a great person. Jack and Barb Wallisch
Our oldest son had Ms. Moran as his band teacher at Withrow. She shared her love for percussion/music with him and so many others. She will be missed by many. Prayers to family and friends.

I am a childhood friend from Cottage Grove. I am very upset about this. Susan was always the most intelligent person around. She had to overcome outrageous physical problems to do what most of us do without thinking. She was an awesome spirit and most likely, as I have been reading, an amazing role-model to so many young students. Her spirit will live on with us! She was truly amazing! Julie (Filson) Smith
Hey Ms.Moran, you were a big part of Rutherford Elementary, I knew you for two years and you were the best band teacher I could hope for. You always had a way to make students have fun but still teach them brilliant music. I will remember you for ever as the band teacher who inspired me to play the oboe. Thank you, Dan.
Hey Ms. Moran, I will miss you. I also want to let your family know that I am a percussionist and was your student at Rutherford. I loved the way you taught. You also had a great laugh I have heard it so many times from the days of joking during lessons between songs. I will always hold you very close to my heart. Love, Sydney Stone
So sorry to hear this sad news. Ms. Moran was Hannah's band teacher for 5th and 6th grade at Andersen Elementary school. She had a wonderful gift to give children- her love and passion of music. She was a wonderful person who will be deeply missed. Praying for her family and friends.
Truly saddened to hear of Susan Moran's passing. My son had her for band at Rutherford and truly enjoyed her passion and excitement for music. She had a great ability to connect with the kids and share her love music with all. Our deepest sympathy and Prayers to her family. She will be missed.
Sue was my daughter Elizabeth's 5th grade band teacher at Rutherford Elementary. She was such a passionate and caring teacher and gave all of herself even on the most difficult of days. Bless you Sue now and always. With Deep Sympathy to the family of Sue. The Milker famiy
I went to Elementary, Junior and Senior High School with Sue. We played ball together and her dad and brothers were some of the best coaches we had. I was shocked to read of her passing, my condolences to the family.
Both of our sons had the privilege of playing in the Stillwater band program under Ms. Moran at both SJHS and SAHS. She was a solid teacher who obviously loved playing and teaching music. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.
I had the privilege of playing and traveling in two music groups with Sue. She was an excellent musician and a solid leader. She had a quiet integrity about her that I will miss. My thoughts and prayers go out to her friends and family.
