Bill and family, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. My prayers to you and your family.
I met John in the 80s and not for long. The closest I ever lived to him was Chicago. But we really never really drifted apart. I had not seen him for 19 years until last May. He was a great and inspirational guy from the day I met him until last Dec 26, when I last talked to him on the phone. Thank you all very much for your memories and remarks. And God Bless Cathy, Rachel, Taylor. Victoria and Brandon.
Four weeks ago you left this world for the majestic home of your Father. We miss your smile and loving spirit more than I can say. With God's strength and guidance we are all learning to live in a world without you. You would be so proud of Catie and Rachel. I love you.

GOD I Pray that you keep John's Family in your loving care as they go through this loss.. You are gone now John but you will never be forgotten. You are and forever will be the RAY OF SUNSHINE, Keep smiling my friend May You REST IN PEACE.. I Love you and will miss you very much.
John you were always a friend and a person who was always there to listen. You were also the best "rep" that I ever had the pleasure to work with-in all areas. I know you are in a better place. You will be missed and I will miss you.

I want to express my condolences to the entire family for the loss of John. I knew him from our meetings and can attest to the fact that he was a classy guy. We miss him and wish the family the very best as they go forward.
My sympathy goes out to John's family and friends. John was really a good guy and he always made me smile. I'm glad I was able to see him at our class reunion last summer. His positive outlook that evening continues to inspire me.
Our deepest sympathy to the family.
May John rest in peace and may the perpetual light shine upon him.

You have my sympathies. I am Mark and Ruthie's niece, Kelly Smith Rudd. I met John camping with Uncle Mark and time vacationing in Arizona. He attended my little sister Shelly's funeral after she passed away from cancer two and a half years ago. He wanted to see the farm and the countryside where we grew up. He said "This is truly amazing and God's special place."
I wanted to send a message of prayers to John's family. Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. John provided that smile and big picture of what was important in life. I truly believe that Shelly and John are now in God's special place.
All my thoughts and prayers,
