Dear members of the Pierre Family, I am saddened to hear this evening of the death of Roger. We met in 1965 in Faribault where we were both assistant pastors, and since then had many great times together, especially sailing, and kept in touch by phone since I moved to Manitoba. Roger was a true saint. John Holmen
So saddened to hear of Father Roger's passing. Pierre family you have our deepest sympathy. Fr Roger married my husband and I at UST 11 years ago and he was very important part of our special day.
I heard Fr Pierre say mass on TV. What a good and interesting priest he was. I
really enjoyed his masses.
