Mark was my cousin and I knew him from afar. I knew him as a kind and gentle man and always willing to help my mother during trying times since my father passed away suddenly at 51. The Greens had a family farm that my Uncle John managed later passing it on to Mark to manage. In both Mark and Johns communication with my mother I always remember how good they were to Mom. Always so kind and caring even though we were so far away in Wyoming. In reading the messages on this board it's clear Mark was indeed the man I knew him to be. He wanted to make a difference and surely he did. I wished I had taken more time to be with Mark and family over the years and I will do much better in the future. Our faith teaches us that life in this world is but a mist of time and that far greater and eternal times await us in our heavenly home. Mark embodied the true Christian spirit and for sure possessed the characteristics of his faith. I shall miss his goodness and decency but know he's is again with family meeting so many of the people he knew through his geneology experience. What a good man and certainly the type of person that makes life a better experience. I know he's not resting but enjoying his time in paradise. We will all see you again Mark. My love to you, Casey and all of my cousins. Pat Green-Wyoming

Mr. Green, loved your jolly teaching style.
Sorry about TP'ing your house, however did you allowed me to do my 9th grade speech on the proper way to TP a house...apparently I thought I needed a practical test as well! All that said, nice job on catching us! Rest in peace.

Mr. Green is the reason I love to read. He marched our class into the library and forced us to get a book and read it in class. I read the book he picked for me in 3 days and have never stopped. I always wanted to thank him for that but never got the chance. His family should be proud of the number of people he has inspired. Add me to the list.
