Today the entertainment industry has suffered a major loss. Mitch was a one of a kind comedian who's legacy will influence many comics to come. RIP

I'll never forget meeting Mitch and seeing his eyes light up when he realized I actually knew his jokes. He will forever live in my heart, and I'll think of him often.

I remember my husband dragging me to the comedy club in atl. to see Mitch...Then, I remember writing down his jokes on a cocktail napkin to tell all of my friends the next day, I couldn't ever do his jokes justice, and my friends didn't understand how funny he was until I dragged them to see him! I can't believe this. Tragic. Surreal. We'll miss you Mitch, my husband's going to freak out when i tell him tonite :(

Thanks for the laughs, Mitch. I will always continue to crack people up with your quotes...your routine was so refreshing, smart, and orginal and your humanity and humility plain to see.
