Good Morning All - I attended one of the most beautiful funerals yesterday. Ardie your family is amazing!!!! The eulogy by your grandson and pastor and neice were amazing. What a tribute to a wonderful Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother and Friend to many people. I sat in amazement on the stories of his life. I was never lucky enough to meet him but I'm lucky enough to know his son Rick and their amazing family. They loved him with all their heart and soul. Love to all of you. God will get you through the many days ahead. Cherish all the memories and keep sharing them with each other.

Dear Ardie, Scott and Rick (and all of extended family),
I was so sad to hear of Dick's passing. I lived above you from 1969-1974 when I was first married and before moving into my first house in No. St. Paul. I LOVED living upstairs of your family and actually missed the small cozy apartment after moving. Dick was always so fun and such a tease. He was a great storyteller, too! I thought it was so funny how he parked the bus in front of your house and ran in (to get something to eat or what?) I was so impressed with how neat he kept the yard and how great it looked! I have many fond memories of Dick-he was a great guy and I am sure you will all miss him so much. My prayers are with you all.

Dear Ardis -- We just heard about Dick's untimely death and our deepest condolences to you and your family, especially Rick, Dianne and their two boys. We will miss Dick's wonderful sense of humour and always looked forward to re-connecting with you and Dick in Maui each year. He brightened our days and made both of us smile. It was a distinct pleasure to get to know all of you and somehow the Sugar Beach pool is a little less bright and sunny today. We are so sorry for your loss and are thinking of you. We can't be there in person, but we are there in spirit and tonight, at sunset, we will raise out glasses to Dick and his memory.
