Tyler,

Every day I think about you. I think about what you have done for me, and for the rest of the world. For the rest of my life and eternity, I know you will be by my side, looking out for me, loving me, and guiding me. I love you more than anything. Thank you Tyler. I love you.

It's six months later and to this day I cannot turn left on Fifth Avenue without seeing the smoke and thinking of you.

I think of you and your family often, and about the last time I saw you in Ridgefield last Easter. My prayers are with your parents and Trevor.

Hey Ty, I just stopped to say a few words, and to leave you a memento I never got to deliver. I knew you long enough to truly feel the pain in my heart Tyler. Had you not been amongst those taken away from us on 9/11, I would have been one of those lucky people spared from the first hand effects of that horror. Yet it comforts me to know that if it had to be you, no matter how much it hurt --I can't think of someone more deserving of the lasting memory you left behind... Here's a little pic the camp and I got of you when we partied together in Cancun. We'll do that again soon, I promise.... We miss Ty, Alex

Tyler, I will never forget our days at Columbia University, conjugating French verbs and chatting about the Yankees. You always greeted me with a smile and kind words. Thank you for gracing us with all of the good you had inside. --JB CU '01

I used to watch you play basketball when I lived with my family in Ridgefield in fall of '96. You stood out; you had a killer smile and a special aura about you. At the time, I guessed that my sister on the girls' team probably had a crush on you.

I gather that your brother Trevor is looking after your parents as well as he can. Tyler, if you're watching, please make sure people give him the support he'll need. I imagine it's terribly hard to be the only child left.

God bless you, your family...and the world.

We are two girls from germany, 15 and 17 years old. Today we have a project day at our school about the attacks on the USA, about their reasons and their consequences! We can´t find the right words, because it´s very hard for us to understand the feelings you must have in the USA! It must be very terrible and WE ARE VERY SORRY!! We hope that there will peace again and that the political situation will improve!

I graduated with Tyler from Ridgefield High School in 1997. While I did not know him well, I remember occassionally watching him play at basketball games and seeing his smiling face in the hallway.
There is not a day since Sept.11th that passes without me thinking of him, all of the other victims, and their families. My thoughts are with you.

We are so sorry for your loss.

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn

I look at my dresser with memories of my past and see the ceramic teddy bear you signed and gave me for out one month aniversary. Although I was in 7th grade and you in 8th I held on to it to remember you and the days back at Fatima. You are a guy and are sadly missed.
Love,
Caitlin Nash
