My wing of the Jackson family, Aunt Ora always made us feel welcome with love, hugs and prayers and what a awesome meal she would make. Talked with her last week, she sounded good and told me about her great granddaughter April. She was like a second mom to me, always there when I needed someone to talk to. I have every Birthday, Christmas card and beautiful letter she always wrote to me. She will be missed is with the Lord and Harold the love of her life. Daughter of her beloved sister Mildred Jackson.

She and her husband were long time customers at Pea Picker Bookstore in Tyler. Nicest people.

I went to work for GE in 1968 and remember Ora during the early years there. Loved her from the minute I met her. She was so much fun to be around and could always make me laugh. Last time I saw her was not long before Harold passed and the three of us had quite a visit in a store. My condolences to the family in the loss of this sweet, sweet lady. I believe she is with the Lord right now and we will see her again someday in Heaven.
