Lynn was one of the first people that I met moving to Ukiah 14 years ago. He was incredibly kind and generous. I lived in one of his mobile homes for over 8 years and have rarely had such a great landlord.. He and Alice were remarkable renting to me and giving me foundation at one of the lowest times of my life. Because of their generosity and trust, I was able to pull my life together, which at that point was a mess. If it had not been for the Ellards, the result most probably would have not ended at all well. We ran into each other a few weeks ago.and he was proud to introduce me to Dana. He was beaming with happiness.
My sincere condolences to his new bride, Dana, and the whole of Lynn's extended family for their loss of a gentleman who made such a difference to many. I am proud to have had Lynn as a good friend. I will miss seeing his very green pickup around town, his reflective conversations, but most of all I will miss that unique chuckle of his. R.I.P. my good friend. You will be very much missed.
