I was thinking of Claude and to my surprise I saw this. I thank everybody for taking such good care of him. Fat Dog Berkeley. CA

Eric Berne and Claude Steiner opened doors for me to help so many others that I can not sing their praises loud enough. What Berne started Claude continued and made it possible and feasible for hundreds of therapists to follow after him. While his footprints are mighty big for the rest of us to fill, his spirit will live on in the generations that follow. The few hours we spent together after a lecture in the 1970's were definitely a highpoint in both my professional career and my life in general. Warm fuzzy's and bear hugs to this mench of a man, teacher, student, artist, and all around neat human being.

Claude was a kind, thoughtful, caring, wise, sweet friend and mentor, who generously came to Wealden Psychology Institute in South East England from 1991 to 2014 to conduct TA workshops. He was loved and respected by all who knew him. He lived as he recommended; in a loving, kind, emotionally literate way.

Ever
*after Dorothy Parker*

*If I took these feelings inside my heart and placed them in the sky--*

Now the sun is cool and far away. Will it ever glow and beam again?

The high, small moon is lost behind the clouds

Dark is the night. Cold is the day. The flame of day never burns

For someone irreplaceable has gone away

Never ever ever

ever to return
