Mr. Goodman was one of my business class teachers at Ukiah High. I always enjoyed his class because of his positive attitude. My condolences to his family and friends.

I first met Dave in Army Reserve.Very proud and correct in all he did.Later played on softball team with he and his son Larry. He pitched and I caught him.He was sharp on the field and in good shape even though he was old enough to be father to any of us on the team. Will always remember that when he said good bye after a conversation he would give a sharp salute with the order to "carry on men".Very glad that he attained the highest rank of an enlisted man before retiring.Sgt.Major Goodman. I had the pleasure of knowing Dave for more than 30 years. I Never heard him say an ill word of anyone. A true gentleman in every sense of the word. "one voice".
