As juniors at Millikan High, Diane and I were "buddies" and we agreed to walk together at graduation the following year. As seniors we became closer and I eventually fell into "puppy love" with "Di". This girl LOVED to dance and her energy was infectious. I last saw her at Millikan's 40th reunion. We fast danced together and I marveled at the strength in her arms and legs as we spun around the floor.

We all scattered out into different directions and lives after high school but she's remained in my thoughts and heart through these many years. I feel honored and gifted having been able to share that special time in a teenagers life with her. God speed Di....your presence enhanced so many of our lives. Tim

Diane and I met originally when she and Ken co-taught half a year of my son's 4th grade class. i immediately became inspired and grateful to have such amazing role models in school!
I had the honor of working with her many years later when she taught ESL and GED services through the Laytonville school district. What a loving, sharp, community minded woman. She was a mentor , a friend and always an advocate for the underdog. She will always be remembered as a wonderful and generous lady be sorely missed.
