I was in great shock to hear of this.My sincere sympathy goes out to all the family. It was like losing a father, for he was there with us for oh so many years. Our mom sang many night to us the famous George Jones songs !!!!
As you grieve know that we are remembering you and honoring the memory of George. He will remain in our hearts forever.May your hearts and souls find peace and comfort......no one can ever fill his shoes !!!!!!!!

In the words you sang: "There'll never be another. Whose gonna fill YOUR shoes?" Thanks for everything, George. You will live on forever through your music.

I've been listening to George since I was a little boy. My first record was Why Baby Why. One time in the early 80' my employes pulled a trick on me and told me George was killed in one of his episodes, that was a sad day in my life. But 30 years later it's still a very sad time. This time no one will tell me it was a joke. And I'll for ever miss you George. I do have over 100 G J albums to remember you by
