We were shocked to hear that Dick had passed away. I worked with him in the traffic department at Caltrans.
After retirement several of us would get together for lunch and we trying to arrange one when we discovered that he had passed. He was a brilliant man and will be missed greatly.

Sincerest condolences to the Nelmes's Family! I met your brother Dick at several affairs of your family. Sorry to read of his passing, Nelcene and Dwayne. I enjoyed my years in Ukiah, and was so happy to follow Nelmes as V/P Mgr. for those 14 years. Been living here in Phoenix 32 years and Ukiah weather almost manages to match ours. I will be 93 years young this year - still kicking, walking without a cane and driving my car. My wife Delilah passed away 6 years ago - Alzheimer's, sadly! Hope all is well with your wonderful family! Most Fondly! Iver

Although I did not know Mr. Smith, I would like to express my condolences to his family and friends. I am so sorry for your loss. I promise that I will pray for your family tonight. (John 11:1-44)
