I've enjoyed a piece of art for years that Virginia painted in 1965. I did not know her. A piece of art is a vision of introspection that will continue dialogues for many generations. Her artistic legacy is furthering meaningful discussions. My condolences to her family.

Virginia was a family friend and a wonderful artist and teacher. I remember the 'Fitch Birds' she would make from Paper Manche and all her wonderful water-colored paintings of the Old Houses in town. Virginia was a very lovely woman..

So sorry for your loss. I loved Virginia. My mother, Alma Lawrence was a good friend of Virginia. May she rest in peace

Mrs. Fitch was my 3rd grade teacher (1963-64) at Nokomis Elementary and she was one of my favorites. She had an amazing rock collection, I loved all of our art projects and she patientally taught us the "art" of cursive handwriting. I am very fortunate to have had her as a teacher, she was one in a million.
