So sorry to find this news just now when my mom (Joann Orcutt Stevens) asked me to see if I could find a way to reach Ginny. They hadn't been in touch for perhaps a year or two but were very good friends in Austin High School and at University of MN (I think they were roommates) and had stayed in touch over the years.

Condolences, albeit belated, to the family.

My sons were so lucky to start their school experience with Ginny and Mary Monroe. What a wonderful person she was to everyone who met her. Soft spoken and kind. It was a pleasure working with you Ginny. You will be missed. Roberta Curl Marcott

My daughter was so lucky to have Mrs. Maurer as her kindergarten teacher. She absolutely loved her, all the kids did - and my husband and I had so much respect for her. So patient and calm, she handled those kids with softly spoken words and compassion. She will truly be missed.
