MARTHA "Martie" D. MARSHALL HARNER
Precious wife to Timothy "Timmy" Paul Harner; mother to Wade B. King (Lisa) ; grandmother to Patricia, Justin, Dale and Mary Louise; great grandmother to Robert Marshall; sister to "Nan", Donna; "Vince"(Janet) and Sherrie (Dane); beloved daughter-in-law to Jeannie Harner Roswell; sister- in- law to Rusty (Debbie), Cindy (Billy); relative and "best" friend to myriads... Martie went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, May 21st at 7:38 p.m. She passed at home, surrounded by loved ones, after a courageous fight against breast cancer. Her parting message was "Thank the Lord for Saving my Soul and giving me a Blessed life". She wanted and prayed for everyone within her sphere of influence to have that assurance. "Martie" was born Sept. 21, 1948 in Wash. DC to Harold V. and Myrtle L. Marshall now deceased. She was raised in Landover Hills/ Cheverly MD. and lived her married life in Monrovia, MD. Martie was the heartbeat of the Long and Foster Office in Mt. Airy for 25 years and will be missed by all who knew her. Viewing will be Tuesday, May 27th, 5:00-8:00 PM at Molesworth - Williams Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus. A Celebration of Martie's Life will be held on Wednesday, May 28th at Damascus Road Community Church, 12826 Old National Pike, Mt. Airy at 11:00 A.M. (Viewing 10-10:55 a.m.) followed by interment at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Monrovia.
