You made such a great, positive impact in my life that I'm honored to have told many that you were my favorite teacher. :D I remember wanting to contact you during college to thank you for being the greatest 7th grade Algebra teacher ever. Then I began working at SBCISD. I can still remember new teacher orientation and noticing your name on the list. Oooh- you bet I asked around for you. No luck though, you hadn't been seen. I headed to school to locate my new classroom amazed to discover that Mr. Bob Pierce was going to be teaching 2 doors down and we had been placed on the same team?! NO WAY? It couldn't have gotten any better than that. Honored. :D I never got to thank you like I wanted to. I am ever so blessed to still be in contact with our former students who you had just as much of an impact on. I thank you for everything Mr. Pierce. It's been a blessing to read so many comments from so many others who were just as fortunate to meet you within their lifetime.

I opened the newspaper today to learn about the untimely passing of Bob Pierce. I worked with him at Miller Jordan and Riverside. He was always fit, friendly and compassionate. He and I both were business leaders in the Rio Grande Valley prior to teaching school. My heart and prayers go out to his family. May God place His hands upon you and bring you peace during this time of loss.
