So sorry to hear this sad news. Jack was a wonderful , caring Doctor to me, and to my sons Patrick & Kent. He was a generous, caring and kind man. He will be missed by many. Sincere condolences to the family.
Forever in my heart, forever missed
The warm glow of this candle resembles the soothing, warmth that surrouds me when I think of Jackie Martin. He was a gentle, loving man that was very impressionable in the early years of my life. He will be missed terribly, however the memories will always remain forever in my heart. May peace and comfort fill the hearts and souls of Greta, John, Shannon and their extended families. My most sincere condolence's go out to all of you at this extremely difficult time. xoxo Colleen
Drs. Lee Kornder and Thais Hall remember our Classmate Jack as a good student and an eager participant in extra study sessions (and ,of course, the "fun" times). The surviving members of the U.B.C.Medical Class of 1956 send our condolences to Greta, family and friends. Thais Kornder
Greta, John and Shannon
We were so sorry to hear about your loss.
I have fond memories of time spent with Uncle Jackie at the Martin family home in Burnaby. He was a wonderful uncle, kind, generous & loving. He always found time to entertain my sister & myself when we were children. He read to us, played with us, and later on, he continued to be interested in us, often offering much free advice, always with our best interests at heart. As the years passed he continued to be a delightful great- uncle to my children who will never forget the visits to "The Ridge" and the rides he gave them in his Ferrari. He will live on in our memories. I know that you will miss a good deal.
With sympathy,
