So sorry to read of your father's passing in the Optimist last night. Your dad was a great guy. Your mom and dad were wonderful neighbours. Your dad was always there for my mom and dad whenever they needed help. Take Care. Cathy Waterson (Gorman) (Ladner B C )

I extend my sympathy to Alan's loving family. I would often drive by his home on Wallace and think about dropping in, but it is one of my regrets now, that I hadn't for many years. It has been a long time since I have seen Gord, Leslie, Sandra & Robert, but when we were younger we would socialize at family gatherings as children do.
My Mom, Marjorie Harford and your Mom/ Grandmother Shirley were cousins and I also remember Jack and Gladys well. You had a great Dad and Grandfather and you will miss him I know.

Fellow Tsawwassenite, Vicki Harford

Sorry to hear of Al's passing. I remember the first time I met him on the ice on a Friday morning at the rink in Burnaby with a lot of Firefighters skating around to warm up and following Al and the cloud of smoke from coming from his stogie.I never had the privilege of working with him but he was a great coach for our Hockey team and will always be remembered. My sincere condolences to the family Ian Monteith
