Anker was such a lovely man ... I enjoyed him so much during the time we worked together at Westport. My sincerest condolences to the family.

WHile Anker worked with me for several years in Vancouver, I got to know him best in his beloved Zihuatanejo, MX. We will greatly miss his margaritas on the lawn overlooking the Pacific, and his endless good humour.

Our deepest condolences to all of you. Anker will be missed. We remember his good humour and bright mind. Both Anker and Ruth were good friends to the Henriksen family.
Sending our love.

To all of you, my deepest condolences on losing your wonderful dad. We were all lucky to know him and enjoy his great humour and his great mind. What a great life he had and a great legacy in you, his family. I know you will miss him hugely. Much love, Nina

Claire, Georgia and family. I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad. I only met him a few times but true, a man you couldnt forget. Through Claire I learned his phrase "What did we do to deserve all this?" I use it often, especially on an adventure most commonly outdoors. The greatest legacy is to pass on love and wisdom, and your Dad sure did.

Both Ruth and Anker would often drop by my parents home for coffee. A wonderful couple. Also became the kids babysitter. Learned a lot from both Ruth and Anker. My virtual best to the family. How lucky to have a father to live so long. Hanne Henriksen Castle
