Gail & Randy. I'm sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. We have many great memories of both your Mom & Dad living on Southwood St. I really enjoyed touring the Bargen Bros sash & door plant back in the day and clearing the snow from the apartments while under construction by Sears. Your father was a great man. I will let my Mom know, she is 90 and in good health living near us in Kelowna. Our thoughts are with you both & your families. Allan, Diane, Jeanne Dalsvaag & families.

Randy and Gail, As you know, your folks were
like 2nd parents to me on Southwood Street,
we continued our friendship after I moved
to Winnipeg and always tried to stay in
touch and see your folks when I could. I'm
very sorry to hear that your Dad has passed
away, he was such a kind and generous person and he will be deeply missed by his
family. He was always so proud of both of
you and especially his grandchildren.
You are in my thoughts and prayers and I wish I could be with you at the service.
God Bless you all.

Art and Elle moved into our neighbourhood in South Surrey several years ago. They were always eager to chat and were friendly to everyone. Both were very well spoken, knowledgeable and yet humble. At Halloween they loved to see the neighbourhood kids all dressed up and were too generous handing them huge chocolate bars by the handful.Art and Elle will be remembered for their endearing ways, kind hearts, and obvious true love for each other and their family.
