Brian was my very special uncle, my Mum's brother. He was a great trickster and always brought a load of fun and laughter with him whenever he visited. I feel very privileged to have had someone like Brian in my life and will miss his support and warmth. I feel that this is still with me. Rest in peace Brian and try not to cause too much trouble up there.

I would like to pass on sincere condolences on behalf of the Cherry family in Toronto.
Brian is my third cousin and stayed with us when he first arrived in Canada in the 50's.
I have great memories of his practical jokes and love for playing rugby.
He was an absolute character and definitely left an impression with us and I am sure anyone he touched. Rest in peace Brian.

To Brian and Betty's girls. We just got home from Mexico and found out about this very sad news! I am feeling so very, very sad as I was so looking forward to a visit with him. I am going to miss his funny Christmas cards that he sends every year. I loved them both, they were such fun to be with. Gil and I were honoured to be in their wedding party. I am definitely going to try and be there on March 5.
