It has been many years since I was close to the Jorgensen family, but the kindness and memories of wonderful times will last forever. Dale, you were a great Chemistry partner although a bit of a distraction! Heaven will surely embrace your sense of humor, your quick wit, your loyalty and dedication to those around you - if not your steadfast knowledge of the Perodic Tables.
Rest in Peace Friend...

So very sorry for you loss.

Just heard today about Dale's passing. The news took me by surprise because every time I saw Dale, including just a few months ago, he looked great, and not at all like a person his age!

My condolences to his extended family and close friends. I know how much he appreciated these people and therefore built his days around seeing them regularly! :-) Glad he got to do a lot of motorcycle touring over the last few years...he had such a big smile when talking about these trips! I will miss his loud and sometimes cranky voice telling me the latest story in the pub or at John's place.

Happy Trails, Dale! Hope Heaven has the perfect place to ride your new motorcycle.

My most treasured Big Brother Dale. I am so heart broken that you are gone. You always had a special place in my heart that will NEVER go away. I am so very thankful you and I got to spend 6 months together while you waited for your new place. We had a lot of laughs and story telling time. This is a memory I will have forever Dale. You were the most talented and creative person. You had so many things to still do in your life. For that will always break my heart. You were so very proud of your motorcycles and especial your new beautiful Indian motorcycle like Dad had. I so very sad I won't be able to drive by your work and bring you some sweets. I am forever grateful that I went by on the Monday before your birthday and brought you Auntie Sheila's Birthday card for you you and one from me along with a Christmas card. I will treasure that visit forever. On Saturday we had your Celebration of Life and again you were a rock Star with standing room only to say good bye. I hope you are with Mom and Dad and all our other family members. May you be cruising the skies .......I LOVE YOU TO THE MOON Your title sister Jill xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox

Our thoughts are with the family. What a beautiful Celebration of Life.
Dale was truly a special person. We saw him at the
45th grad reunion in October and shared many laughs that evening. Those memories will be treasured.

Hello Sheena, such a wonderfully written obituary celebrating your dad and the life you shared. He truly was loving and caring, and was so very proud of you. May you find strength in the memories of him, his stories, his adventures and his humour.

So so sad to hear of Dale's passing. Funny, haven't seen or talked to Dale since the early 70s but only a few weeks back he crossed my mind, I could hear the way he laughed, that very one of a kind chuckle that individualized Dale, along with a trade mark smile. Dale & I worked together at Fraser Mills for a year & shared a lot of laughs with the other guys, good times, some of the best times ever. Centennial was a great place to be young & silly, made that much better by guys like Dale & his buds Don, Gary & Jack. I've always entertained the thought that one day we might cross paths and it'd be as if there were no decades in between. I'll have to settle for memories now, but they're pretty bright. For all the Family & friends I don't know, we all knew the same man who was so special & so treasured in so many different & similar ways, thanks Dale.
