ASSELS, Dora Helen (nee Lariviere)
Our beloved mother, Dora passed away peacefully on February 21, 2013 at St. Michael's Centre, Burnaby, B.C. She was born October 25, 1928 in Montreal, Quebec but made her home in New Westminister, B.C. Dora is predeceased by her beloved husband Bill in April 2008 and son Wayne in April 2012. Survived by nine children, Elma (Tom) Philp, Shirley (Cal) Dalzell, Audrey (Denis) Andersen, Les (Heather) Assels, Henry (Sharie) Assels, Diana (Don) Scott, Sharon (Craig) Benson, Robert (Darcy) Assels, Michael (Jen) Assels, daughter-in-law Sandy Assels as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mother you will be missed. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated. A Celebration of Life service will be held on March 2 2013 at 1:00 pm the Maple Ridge Funeral Chapel (Osborn's), 11969 - 216 Street, Maple Ridge, B.C.
