Diane, Chad & Ryan, Carol, Del, Paul, Louise and Ann Marie, and to All the loved ones whom are a part of the Corsi Family. It is with heavy hearts, we extend our love to you in the loss of, Chas. The Corsi Family was a pioner family of Princeton, like my own family!
Some people make a difference just by being who they are. Some people enjoy being with others; they make friends with strangers easily and always are surrounded by many friends. This was Chas, he made a difference just by being who he was. Chas's personality was contagious, with his smile, laughter, and always a wonderful outlook in every situation!
I wanted you to know, what you are going through is important to me. In my own experience of loosing my Dad; even though the passage of time changes how we manoveure through life, somethings never change- we will always love, and we will never forget! The way you live your life, the way you recieve love, and give love, are the gifts you'll carry on throughout our life. This can never be taken away!
Even though, Chas, has moved on, he will still forever play a part in the Smiles, the priceless moments, that are treasured in the heart! I am thankful I had the privilege of knowing Gary (Chas) Corsi and the Corsi family.
Diana, Chad and Ryan,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this very difficult time. Our memories are full and spirited as we remember Chas and the years in Princeton. Don's memory of Chas waking him up Saturday mornings to "warm him up" is a funny one. Don dreaded those wake ups because his hand burned for days afterward. He was an amazing pitcher! I will never forget how much enjoyment Chas and I got during the fevered card collecting days. We were a good team. He was a good man and he was a proud husband and father. We are truly sorry for your loss. May God bless Chas and may you cherish each loving memory he has made with you.
Don and Sue McLeod, Victoria, B.C.
Our thoughts and Prayers go out to the Corsi's. Chas was definately a man that won't be forgotten. I have lots of fond memories of him as a kid growing up around the Ball Park. Later in life when we too had to say goodbye to our father way too early, Chas touched us with his presence in that heartbreaking time and his support will never be forgotten. May you rest in peace.
SO SORRY DIANE AND FAMILIES TO HEAR ABOUT CHAS---- LOTS OF GOOD TIMES IN THE OLD SOFTBALL DAYS AND MANY BALL TOURNAMENTS. MY CONDOLENCES TO YOU ALL. SHARON KRENN, OSOYOOS B.C.
Our deepest sympathy to all the family. Gary was a great friend and neighbour. Will miss his smile and sense of humour.

so sorry to hear about Chas, he will be missed by many and all the ball memories especially will be remembered by everyone. He was the best pitcher. His dad was so proud of him and now they will be reunited. Take care cuz. Love you
My fondest memories of you Gary, living across the street on Fenchurch ,thank you for the way you respected Austin & I . You were always smiling ,you reminded me of a gentle giant. The way you looked out for Delbert ,then little Paul, who was Shannons first love. Your life had many dimensions, first as loving son, then a brother, husband, father grandfather, cousin and great friend. You were a such a good team member,I remmber the game at the park when two of the players got into a brawl, you took matters into your hands ,got in the middle of them ,then made them shake hands ,truly a great witness & team member. I wonder how many young people were touched & impressed by that display of "team"' that day. It was over 30 years ago & I have never forgot it. I would like to thank you for passing our way ,& sharing your friendship & goodness with all who loved you. Rest in peace dear Garry...Joyce Fraser

Dear Diane and family,
We were deeply saddened to hear the sad news of Chas's passing. We have so many good memories of him. Albie played fastball with Chas for so many years in Princeton and they travelled a lot together to play on out of town teams. During that time they became very good friends and closed down more than a few beer gardens together. It was Chas that made sure that Albie and I sat together in the bar the first time we met each other, and he also organized Albie's stag party before our wedding. Chas had a wonderful sense of humour and a mean "drop" ball. Many batters did not want to face "big Chas" ("Albert" says: I'll miss you "Walter") Love from Cindy and Albie Thomson.
Dear Diana and Family, We are sending our condolences, letting you know you are being thought of! May you take comfort in knowing you have another Angel to watch over you. xoxo~ Cousins Lisa French, & Cory, Zachary and Branden.
To Dianne and Famil
Our thoughts are with you at this time
Your cousin Sonny and the family
Will always remember Chas' infectuous laugh and that "heater". I can still hear the pop in Mick's glove, like I was still out there in left. Those were the good times, and I was glad to be part of them. You will be missed!
Diana and family,we sorry for your loss of Chas. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. We just seen Chas coming out of McD's not to long ago.
Dear Diane and Family, Chaz was a very dear friend to me and my family for so many years...I still remember the Corsi family living across the street when we were kids on the second bench. Chaz and I remained friends through Jim's ball playing with the Cook's Raider's (such good old days), through minor ball, and for so many more years after. Chaz had a personality and smile as grand as he was. I will always be thankful for the support and friendship shown to my girls and I when Jim passed away. My family and I will never forget him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time.
With Love Kim (Fraser-Beswick) Cotter
Our love and warm thoughts go out to Diana and the boys as they mourn the passing of their husband and father.
Uncle Ed & Virginia
Diana, Chad & Ryan,
We were so saddened to hear of Gary's passing, we will all miss his gentle Spirit.
I will never forget the first time I stepped into the batters box when Chas was pitching. My hands were sweating my knees were knocking and when he wound up I closed my eyes and swung at thin air...whew I'm alive as I looked back at Chas on the mound and he had that big irresistible grin on his face and as our eyes locked for the next pitch I knew, he would never hit me and he never did!
Gary was a great Husband, Father, Friend & Coach...he's in the big leagues now and may all his pitches be strike outs!
I learned from my Mom a few days ago about Chas passing on, it caused me to stop and pause and remember a man that I looked up to a great deal. Someone who influenced me to fallow my passion ......which was of course becoming a fastball pitcher. I was 4 the first time I actually remember seeing Chas pitch ......I was on the bench while Dad was coaching and I was driving him crazy tugging on his sleeve ...Dad, Dad.....I want to be a pitcher...can I pitch...I want to pitch like Chas. He also influenced one of the major highlights of my ball career, he had seen a article in the news paper about the Alpha Sports SR.A ladies fast ball team in Vancouver was holding an open prospect and try out camp and he brought to me and my Dad and said he thought I should go . When one of your idols tells you to go try you go try. I didn't get to play the season with Alpha but I did get picked up by the White Rock Renegades and got to have one of the best seasons of my career. So thank you Gary for the encouragement. You will always be a part of one of my favourite memories.. .. My best to your family.
Diana, I am so sorry for your loss of Chas. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Sending a hug for you. Maureen.
