RIP Jason. What a sad day I was just trying to find you on facebook when I came across this.
What kind of place would heaven be with all its streets of gold,
if all the souls, that dwell up there like yours and mine were old?
How strange would heaven's music sound when harps begin to ring,
if children were not gathered round to help the angels sing.
The children that God sends to us are only just a loan,
He knows we need their sunshine to make the house a home.
We need the inspiration of a baby's blessed smile,
He doesn't say they've come to stay, just lends them for awhile.
Sometimes it takes them years to do the work for which they come.
Sometimes in just a month or two our Father calls them home.
I like to think some souls up there bear not one sinful scar.
I love to think of heaven as a place where children are".
Obie, and family...
My deepest condolences on the loss of your son and brother Jason. He was a good person with a wonderful, upbeat personality. I am very glad to have known both Jason and his mother Charlene.
I believe heaven is a better place with them there.
To Obi, Tony,Jennifer, Jonathan and family I send my deepest condolences. Jason was much more than a neighbour to me, he was family. I can't remember a week that went by without Jay cooking soup with dad, taking us to ME&EDS, being with us for birthdays or simply visiting. If Jay taught me anything it was to never stop fighting, love others like no other and always keep rocking. I will miss him each and every day but think of him fondly always. Jay had a heart of gold and I am sad to not have him with us but I'm glad he doesn't have to suffer anymore. I know ill see you again one day Jay, you were one of a kind!
May there be peace in your hearts until you meet again.
My beautiful brother Jason is finally at peace with my Mother. Jason was loved by so many which feels like a great loss but Heaven gained another Angel. I miss you so much already but the pain is replaced knowing that Joy and Pure Love have embraced you. We will never forget you little brother and never forget Jason's memory by becoming an Organ Donor

We were a big part of Jason's early years, all of the kids playing street hockey, hide n'seek, snowball fights, building forts, and other kid stuff on E. 27th. We'll always remember you with fondness and love.
