My FMIL, she was such a special person in my life and my boy's. She was always there when we needed her and only to willing to help out at the drop of a hat. She was such an intelligent lady, her memory so stellar right up to her passing, she never seized to amaze me. I truly believe her tremendous sense of humour kept her going for many years, she could speak to anyone from the Mayor to the homeless, and make speeches without a single piece of paper in front of her. I know her best friend, her daughter, my wife, Kathleen will miss her so very much until they meet again. Miss you Gammie, say Hi to Ryan and Papa, until we meet again. Your Favorite Son In Law Chuck
I was so sad to hear of your mom's passing. Peggy was one of my mom's (Thelma Wells) very best friends and can only hope they are together again having fun and planning their fun adventures. Sincere sympathy to all of you, Margo Richardsen (Thelma's daughter)
I just finished baking walnut squares and shortbread as my Aunt Peggy did. While not as good as hers, it has brought back so many memories of her. It's taken me awhile to write something here, I think I was at such a loss for words. Auntie Peggy was one of the most funny people I have ever known. One of my favorite memory is when we were in Vancouver for the Winter Olympics. She took us on a very informative tour of the West Van Community Center. She loved the area she lived in and her home. She was also very proud of her daughter, Kathy and her son-in-law, Chuck, and her wonderful grandchildren and great grandchildren. I can't help but think how lucky everyone is in Heaven, eating shortbread. We'll miss you here on Earth. Love Sharon and Curtis

-how she loved to tell me stories about the grand kids
-how great she was at telling her stories,
-how she would remember everything about the family history, her memory was amazing.
-how she was always there for you and not afraid to give her opinion
-her smile and her laugh.
She was so smart, funny, and caring.
She will be missed but never forgotten.
I was saddened to hear of Peggy's passing as she had such a zest for life. My name is carol wells, eldest daughter of Thelma Wells - one of Peggy's dearest friends. Our Mothers were such close friends and even when they couldn't visit they always kept in touch by phone - they shared many wonderful memories and close friendships are to be cherished. I know they always looked forward to sharing their birthdays on December 15th. I know my Mom will be so happy to see Peggy again and I like to think of them reunited and talking up a storm! If "our ears" start burning we will know why! No matter what our age, the loss of a Mother is always hard but I know we all had "the best" Mother, Grandmother and best of all , A SPECIAL FRIEND. Thinking of you all.
I am thinking of my dear Aunt Peggy and her family during this difficult time. I have many fond memories of our families spending time together, especially at Alberta Beach. Peggy was so much fun to be with. She had a big heart and always wanted to help everyone. I will miss her so much. My love to the family.
