Dear Bernadette, Dave and Family,

It is very sad to have lost a great gentle yet strong leader. A great role model to our aboriginal community. He helped us become better people with his example. May the family be comforted at this time by the Great Spirit.

Dave was a kind and wonderful man. We worked together through his consulting role with the Canadian Aboriginal AIDS Network. He would quietly listen to us talk and then reflect just what we needed to hear and suggest what we could consider as next steps. His gentle way of guiding us (personally and professionally) will be deeply missed.

Thinking of his family and close friends and remembering Dave in my prayers.
