Just found out about Harry's passing a week ago when I received the Saint Martin's May '18 alumni news which noted his passing and that he had prior been named to the Saint Martin's College sports hall of game. He was a great college golfer and was a one man team at our college. A good friend whom I'd unfortunately not seen for a few years. RIP Harry, your old buddy and college classmate, Rob Keefe

I took lessons from Harry a number of times. We both admired Moe but none more than Harry. His positivity was infectious. I only just learned of his passing when I google him because I wanted another tune up lesson. Condolences to the family. Harry was one of the good guys.

The Purest and Kindest being you will meet in your life. I met him in a charity golf tournament my first actually, we got paired with him. And that was an experience, i will never forget in my life. I witnessed the Wizard of golf in action. He was giving me golf lessons in an actual tournament. He fixed my slice in a few holes! That's how great a teacher he was. And we won first place imagine that! You will be missed i won't forget the life lessons and how to golf healthy as you have shown me and my family. God Bless and rest well my dear old friend.

Harry was, and always will be, the face of junior golf in BC. An absolute class act and one of the most amazing ambassadors the great game of golf will ever see. His kindness and spirit will be missed by all who had the privilege to get to know him. Give Moe a lesson up there, Harry!

I've know Harry for over 30 yrs and his commitment to juniors is never-ending. It wasn't a day before he was taken to the hospital this last time that he called me and asked that I be the seconder for a yound girls he had taken under his wing on the Junior Linkster Tour. With Harry's request I immediately agreed. Harry White stands for Junior Golf and a good person.

I met Harry in 1969/70 at Canada Trust. WE worked together and like everything else Harry did, he tried to make me a better golfer...an impossible job even for him. Our favourite saying to each other was "BMAYDT". Our favourite show as All in the Family staring Archie Bunker. We unfortunately lost touch after I was transferred to Calgary, Alta. & married. A few years back, with the help of technology, we hooked up again via Facebook/e-mail. He was a true friend, one I will always remember and I am saddened with the news of his demise. Rest in peace my friend.

The golf world lost one of the truly kindest and most genuine men in the game. Harry poured his life and soul into mentoring and developing junior golfers and there are thousands of golfers who are enjoying the game of golf thanks to the opportunities Harry provided. We are all so privileged to have had Harry in our lives, influencing us so positively as juniors and for many of us beyond into our careers, whether it be in golf or other. Thank-you Harry. We will all miss you!
