My condolences to the entire Hugh Kerrin family. I remember Hugh very well from Montreal days as Hugh and my father, Dr. Basil Cuddihy worked to gethr at St. Mary's hospital and Hugh took over my dad's medical practice after dada died suddenly at 54 in the Summer of 1959.Hugh was our family doctor until he moved to Vancouver in 1970. My wife Nora and I were on the same train with Hugh and his family as they travelled west from Montreal. Hugh was one of the most caring, kind and compassionate people I ever had the opportunity to meet.
May God look after all of Hugh's family and may his soul rest in peace

Regards, Basil 7 Nora Cuddihy

Please accept my deepest sympathies on your most profound loss. Uncle Huey was truly the most wonderful man I think that I have ever known. That is a comment I make with all sincerity.

My mother had a very special place in her heart for her big brother and she shared that with me on numerous occasions while she recounted stories of their youth. I only wish that I had spent more time with him and getting to know him as you have.

I had the opportunity to spend a few hours with him in January and I will cherish those memories forever. In the span of that time he had me laughing, crying, and reminiscing. I am richer for having known him.

Sending you all of our thoughts and best wishes from the Calgary Winder's.

With love,

Brent

Dear Geraldine and the entire Kerrin Family. I was sorry to read in the Montreal Gazette last Thursday of the passing of Dr Hugh Kerrin. My sincere condolences on your loss. I have many fond memories of Dr Hugh and members of the Kerrin family. He was our family physician for decades always providing excellent and compassionate care to my late aunt and mother at St Mary's. I still vividly recall when I was in my late teens on a friday evening his driving me in his own car to St Mary's emergency department for a ruptured appendix. I disrupted his evening as he had just packed his car and was about to leave with family for Stowe Vermont. He took the time, was ever so attentive, which I will never forget. Indeed he was an excellent, caring internist with a quiet presence and sense of humour. My late mother was a friend and avid bridge player of Hugh's mother Nellie in the basement of St Rapahel's church. I knew his sisters Mary and Margaret. I remember especially Sister Margaret, a teacher and educator (Theresa Francis) from Outremont Convent, St. Thomas High School. I also remember many members of the Kerrin family attending 5:00 mass at St. Raphael's and Joe as an usher on Christmas eve midnight mass.
I hope your own memories of this lovely man sustain and comfort you in your loss.
on behalf of the Maguire family from Outremont.
Dr. Mary Maguire Beaconsfield Qc

Auntie Gerry, Martha, Peter, Jeffrey, Laurie & Pamela. Words cannot express our deep sadness on the loss of Uncle Hugh. Dad always spoke about how much he looked upto his big brother. I will hold closely the memories of the times I had shared visiting in Montreal and time spent in Vancouver during many trips for work...always ensuring I had time to visit. Sending our love & deepest condolences.
