John - Ann & I were both thinking about Jean today but did know how she was getting along. So I went to you Va. Obits and there she was. We are saddened to read this and send our condolences to you at this late date. You can see that we have no connections in Vancouver who might have notified us.
I met Jean in our class in Grade 11. Were you there too? I was attracted to her but too shy to make a approach. And life moves on. Ann and I have been in Toronto for over 40 years. We send our king regards to you at this late date.

Sharon and I are saddened to hear of Jean's passing. Jean was such a wonderful person, a leader, mother, wife, classmate and friend. Her leadership and enthusiasm will be missed. Our sincerest condolences to John and the family.
We will be unable to attend the service for Jean as we will be away at that time.

At this very sad time, hopefully all Jean's family will find some comfort and strength in the knowledge that she touched many hearts along the way. Not only did we work in the same political arena, but I thought of her as a friend. She will truly be missed.

Dear Family of Jean,
It is with profound sadness I learn today of Jean's passing on the 20th. While Jean worked with her favourite politician, MP John Fraser, I was working with MP Tom Siddon. We shared many dinners with our colleagues in other MP offices, and we looked so forward to connecting with all; keeping in touch following that part of our lives through lunches & Christmas letters.
I will endeavour to be at my former church home, Shaughnessy Heights United, on Feb. 19th, to honour her life and friendship, & now I send love to you all.

It is with great sadness that I heard about Jean's passing. She was an awesome Member that I had the pleasure to work with at the Immigration Appeal Board/Immigration and Refugee Board. As Andrew Wlodyka mentions in his post, whe will be greatly missed.

It is with great sorrow to hear of Jean's passing. She was a valued colleague of mine with the Immigration and Refugee Board and the key organizer of the reunions of the former Board members that occurred each year. She will be greatly missed. She brought a sense of humanity to the tasks as a board member and was greatly admired by her colleagues.
