Dear John. Thank you for many good times, your devoted relationship to Namsos and to our common history. Your story makes a difference! I am proad to have known you. My thought goes to Anda and their family. Best Ola

Gina,

I was very saddened to hear of John's passing. I have very fond memories of our meetings together, wide-ranging discussions anchored around the investment themes of our business and, of course, John's humour.

He had a knack for being able to convey a seriousness of intent combined with a gentleness of delivery. However, I always knew I had to be "prepared" when I came to see you both. I knew that if I were to earn any business it would be because John perceived merit in what our investment managers could bring to his clients. Your library bore witness to how well read you both were and I learned much from my time with John.

He wasn't just a gentleman but he had an even rarer quality in this era: stature.

Gina,

Cara, the boys and I would like you to know our thoughts and prayers are with you.

You both had a significant impact on our lives, especially in my "early days" as an advisor. Whenever I solicited advice from John he was there to deliver it, and even the odd occasion when it wasn't solicited :)That was just John, and we love him for it!

We hold onto our fond memories.

sorry to hear about John's passing, Gina. I am most grateful that our paths crossed in life, and that John touched & enriched my life, and inspired me.
