It's so hard to say goodbye to such a fine & spirited man. My sympathies to his family.

He will be greatly missed, John was such as strong supporter of BC Centre for Ability, and such a kind and thoughtful man. Our prayers are with the whole family,

Barb, my thoughts and prayers go to you and your family at this time. Working with John for 13 years gave me time to get to know him and have an enormous amount of respect and admiration for both his professional and personal life. John always did everying with much care and the highest quality. Being a friend and co-worker, John will be dearly missed. To sum up who he was, he would sign off his emails with - Best John

Our polis mourns the death of this citizen. A model of Roman dignitas and civic virtue, John was a constant moral compass. At the old Y, we sometimes joshed if he might be wearing the toga of Cincinnatus on this day; said he wouldn't give up the fishing-rod or the plow. Farewell,

I served with John on the ICABC Council. He was such a fine man, always ready to serve and be helpful. My sympathies to you, his family who will miss his kindness and sparkle.
