Randy & family,

Sorry to hear about the passing of your dad. Please take care.

Very sorry hear of the passing of John Stellick. Some of my fondest childhood memories were being the batboy for the Longshoremen Canadians in the late 60's, early 70's, Mr. Stellick was the coach/2nd baseman. I took over for my older brother Dan when he outgrew the job. I still remember every players name on that team and what position they played. I learned everything I know about baseball watching and listening those guys. Mr. and Mrs. Stellick always took great care of me any time the team went out of town to play in tournaments and I always learned lots of new swear words on the bus trips. A Vancouver baseball legend is gone, rest in peace.
Deepest condolences to the Stellick family

Uncle John was the very special soul , never an unkind word and always a kind heart. The door was always open, with no questions ever asked. John made sure everyone around him felt loved and special. We will all miss him; especially at Christmas. Nobody could wrap a parcel like Uncle John

I am saddened to learn that John has passed . I recall those days when our sons played lacrosse for the Burnaby lacrosse league... great fun . While I haven't seen John or Pearl since they moved to the Okanogan I have fond memories of of the days when our sons were young . John was a good man .

I grew up with John and Lyle back in the nineteen forties and remember doing many things together with them including getting shoe shines in their basement where they lived on east 26 th ave.
