Bob. Bonnie and Diane,
Joyce was a wonderful person who we enjoyed knowing and visiting with for many years. She was always a superstar mother!!
love, Rod and Sandy
February-18-18
A graceful light has gone out. Joyce was a wonderful neighbour who did not hesitate to lend a hand when it was needed, especially in the garden. She and Carl were like grandparents to our kids. We loved them both. Bonnie and Bob, our family is very sorry for your family's loss.

Condolences, Bob, Bonnie, family and friends. As a child I grew up always happy to see Carl cutting the grass and Joyce digging in the garden. I would always run down to say Hi and give Cindy a pat and I was always greeted with friendly smiles. I don't remember what we talked about, but they always took the time to talk to me.
When I came returned as an adult I got to know Joyce better and I learned to share her love of gardening. We would spend time together doing those special things you don't do with just anybody, like picking clover.
The year it was voted the most beautiful block was due to Joyce helping and encouraging everyone. I know she was a big influence on my Mom.
Later, I was honoured that she would often come walking by my house while I was digging in my garden. She was always had a king heart, full of joy and laughter. They were both admirable people who deserved the respect and love of the neighbourhood. It will always be 'The Zetterstrom House' to me. RIP together.
