"Not how did she die, but how did she live?
Not what did she gain, but what did she give?"

With condolences already sent I just want to say a few words about the genealogy that Julie and I shared. Our ancestry lies in the heart of Ireland and Scotland with some English. We are probably more Irish than any other nationality and it is no coincidence that our Auntie Chrissie touched both our lives as she was our father's youngest sister and the last of her generation to pass away at the age of almost 101. Auntie Chrissie was very fond of the Monastery of Clonmacnoise with its famous Celtic Cross and one of her favourite hymns was that of St Patrick's Breastplate which I quote here:

Christ be beside me
Christ be before me
Christ be behind me
King of my heart

Christ be within me
Christ be below me
Christ be above me
Never to part

Although Auntie Chrissie was born in Shannon Harbour Kings County, now Offaly, the family lived in the early 19th Century in Thurles, County Tipperary and a place called Ballyneale, near Carrick on Suir is a place where a Sept of the clan, to which we belong, lived.

Your spirit will live on in those you have left behind. May you Rest in peace with all your ancestors watching over you.
