What a privilege it was to have met such a wonderful lady as Lue and to have had her as our neighbor in Birch Bay. Thank you for sharing your time with us and the fun times we had with our grandchildren around the campfire! Rest In Peace.

So many years of gone by but I remember very fondly her kindness to the awkward British kid who was new to the neighborhood. Rest in peace Mrs. M. And sincere condolences to John, Julie and their families.

My deepest condolences to the McQuarrie family !
Mrs. M
Thank you for always greeting me with genuine smiles.
Thank you for always making sure I'd eaten supper when I came over.
Thank you for letting us invade your basement to practice the same songs over and over turned up to 11.
Thank you for letting us be kids.
Most importantly, thank you for being you!
Rest peacefully !!

My heart-felt condolences to the McQuarrie family !
As a teenager growing up with John and exploring our musical sides, we inundated both Mr. and Mrs. McQuarrie with the constant repetition of our guitars, drums and vocals turned up to "11" from their basement ! Through all of this both always greeted me with genuine warmness and encourage us to play ! Mrs. M always made sure we had snacks (and supper if I showed up hungry) ! Thanks for letting us invade your home and for letting us just be kids !!

Dear Julie, Bill, Chelsea, Jessica and Megan,

Saddened to hear of your beloved Mom, mother in law and gramma's passing. She was a great lady and treated us with much kindness . We had many a laugh , and shared stories over her coffee and my tea. You will greatly miss her as the days go bye but she is only a memory away. Think of her as just around the bend with her beloved Alb waiting to greet you and welcome you home. May God bless and comfort you and be assured of our thoughts and prayers now and in the days to come.
Love Jean and Bryce
