Dearest Mike, Kathy and Jan. So sorry to hear of the loss of your dear, sweet mother. It is hard to believe that I continued to live in Lynn Valley for so long without staying in touch with her. My thoughts are with you and share some fond memories of caring for you during the summer of 1964, while your Mom did some vacation relief at CIBC. Gail

Our family was saddened to hear of Rita's passing. She was an amazing pet sitter to our wonderful Katie the sheltie, and we have donated to the BCSPCA in Rita's memory. Marjean and (the late) Ron Park.

Kathy, Mike, Karen, and Jan,
Had a little cry when I heard you had to say goodbye to your sweet mom. So many of my happy childhood memories are of time spent with your family and of our mom's wonderful friendship.
One blessing of dementia is that Mom(Molly), will forget her sorrow at the passing of her sweet best friend a few minutes after she hears this news.
I can never picture Rita's face without her smile. She was truly a lovely, genuinely good person and I know you will all miss her.
Love Lynne
