I met Bob in the early 90s at the old Robson St. liquor store. What a guy. I was always happy to see him come into the store with that big grin on his face. What ever he was selling, I'd buy it; just to hear about his latest adventure. Gone too soon, Bob. You were one of a kind, and you will be sorely missed by one and all. To honour Bob's memory, just remember to smile.

My best friend of 20 years is missed so much by myself and Trixie my puppy who Bob took care of all the time. Towards the end when he was without energy Trixie and him would sleep in my bed and he would play tug of war with all the stuffed toys. Trixie still waits for him at the front door. I am at a loss without him.

Bob was just as wonderful of a person the beverage industry has ever known. Witty , kind and gentle. I remember many evenings at The Riley Cafe howling at Bob's endless stories. Bob you are sorrowly missed

He made us laugh. He made us cry. He taught me how to smoke and drink (That didn't help). Most of all he made me think about life and taking chances. I miss my brother and I am sorry for the loss for Ross. And by God he was entertaining; the best story teller in the family. Thank you Bob.
