My condolences to Ray, Ian, Sarah and Maria. Rose was a great Aunt and I will always remember her laugh. It was contagious. I had not seen her in years but very much remember the last time she was visiting Pembroke at my parents house with all her siblings on hand. It was a great time with many great stories of all of the adventures being relived. Of course Aunt Rose had some great stories of her own.
Love to all.

To Rose's family, I offer my heartfelt sympathy on their loss.

Rose was a dear friend of Jean's and mine for almost fifty years. We met her shortly after our family's arrival in Richmond from Montreal in 1968. We lived on Blundell Road and she lived on one of those more' streets; Dinsmore, Elsmore, I forget which one it was now.

Our children became friends with hers and some of them keep in touch via Facebook even now.

Rose had a sunny disposition and a positive personality. Over the last thirty years, her illness slowly, but inexorably ground her down. I don't know, but I suspect she welcomed the end when it came because she'd had more than enough. I would rather remember the many happy times we shared over the years. There was never a shortage of laughter.

Maybe St. Peter should dig around for his acoustic earmuffs, because Rose and Jean will likely shake up the place more than a little.

Your wife, mother will always be remembred by me for being a good friend and mentor over the many.many years and also by being there when I needed her help to overcome my personal problems.
Rose has a special place in heaven and now pain free with God.
